Author Discusses and Demonstrates Technology for Seniors
Denver, Colorado March 23, 2009 David Peterka, author of The Senior Sleuth’s Guide to Technology for Seniors, will discuss technology for the 55+ consumer and demonstrate a few nifty Senior gadgets.
Companies churn out thousands of new gadgets each year: from enhanced automobile engines to button-sized music players that can store your entire music collection (and then some). Many of these technologies are designed specifically for senior citizens. Others are designed for a wider consumer base, yet offer unique appeal to seniors.
David Peterka, author of The Senior Sleuth’s Guide to Technology for Seniors, will discuss these Senior Technologies in an upcoming author event at Open Book in Shorewood, Wisconsin. He will also demonstrate a number of useful gadgets that can help enrich the Senior experience, including electronic pill dispensers, online video chats, and useful “senior” iPhone apps.
